For permanent installs, we do recommend using a wrench to tighten the bolt of the cross-base. If you have no access to a wrench, then you can tighten the bolt by hand. About Feather Flag Nation Feather Flag Nation is the pioneer of these feather flag advertising flags. When purchasing from us, you will be supporting a company that has the patent rights to sell these products. Additionally, not only do we offer better quality products but we also provide better prices. Our flag poles are cut and crafted in-house at our California and Georgia facilities, which stimulates the American economy. Tips for Increasing Lifespan of This Product Do not toss the poles or cross-bases around. Store cross-bases away from other components of this kit. The weight of the cross-base can damage the flag and or poles. Always collapse the cross-base before storing. We recommend taking it apart so the cylinder is separated from the plates. If you are using this kit outside, we would advise additional weighted support on the cross-base in case of high winds or gusts. When taking apart the poles, do not twist or bend. Pull straight up to separate or hold horizontally and pull outwards.COMPLETE KIT WITH CROSS-BASE AND WEIGHT-DONUT: This kit includes 1 12ft x 2.5 feather flag, 1 15ft telescopic flag pole, 1 cross-base, and 1 weight-donut.
